Lake
Superior's North Shore also Canada
side
North, from Duluth east along the northern shore
of Lake Superior
is great.
The drive along northern Lake
Superior in Minnesota between Duluth
and Tettegouche State Park on has
lighthouses, cliffs, scenic
water-ways, views of the lake are
all well worth the trip.
And if one
likes to take photos at night of
cities, driving up to the rest area
off I-35 just outside of Duluth
offers great views of the city and
harbor.
Southern Lake Superior shore in
Michigan's Upper Peninsula is great
between Tahquamenon Falls State Park
and Marquette.
Juniper Island
Pictured Rocks
National Lakeshore, with it's sand
dunes, numerous waterfalls, great
Fall Color photography,
and not far
south is the Seney National Wildlife
Refuge.
Vince Schute Wildlife Refuge good
for photographing wild black bears
Yankee Boy
Basin good for wild flowers in mid
July.
Twin falls
good for wild flowers in mid July.
Kadunce River Gorge is located just
north of Grand Marais
Schute Wildlife Refuge
Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge
